Personnel Jacket

If you haven't registered on the AmericasArmy.com website, you need to go there first to create a player.

Once you do that you need to enter the Username and Password in the Soldier Login section, click remember username/password box and click the login button.

If you get a error while login in it might be because:

Problem: The Authorisation server is down, error message: Timed out, Communication error.

Answer: Keep trying

Problem:You can't login.

Answer: You typed the wrong username/password, or you need to register at americasarmy.com

Training

If you are new to the game, you need to pass the training before playing online.

Click on the Training button and click on Basic Training.

If you complete the Marksmanship part of the Basic Training on a high level (if you hit 36 or more out of 40 targets) you will qualify for the Sniper school.

After you've completed Basic Training you can then attempt the other tours and complete all the missions . It's important to keep trying to complete all training, because, without completing some Tours you will not be able to play some roles or use some weapons.

Joining a game Online

To join an Online Game click on the Deployment screen, to see the list of online servers click on the Refresh button in the internet screen.

You have to click the "Enable Punkbuster" box at the bottom right of the screen if you want to play on Official servers.

Try finding a server with a low ping for faster game play.

Honor, ROE and the Score system

Honor represents experience or how long you've been playing, its affected by your score when playing on Official servers or Leased Official servers.

If you kill alot of enemies or complete alot of objectives and win, you gain honor.

If you kill teammates and your team lose's alot or you violate the ROE (Rules Of Engagement) you lose honor.

ROE stands for Rules Of Engagement, and if you wish to gain honor or keep playing on official servers you need to fallow them.

Score is very important if you want the weapon of your choice, highest score usually gets the weapon.

Also, Score plays a big part of your honor, positive score = More honor.

Here is the score you need for each point of Honor for each Honor Range:

01-10: 500
11-20: 1,000
21-30: 2,500
31-40: 4,000
41-50: 6,000
51-60: 9,000
61-70: 13,000
71-80: 23,000
81-90: 43,000
91-99: 83,000

Weapons Modifications

If you pass the Special Forces Tour then you will have a section called Weapons Mods available under the Personnel Jacket screen. Then you can choose the personal modifications your SOPMOD M4A1 has when playing . You have to  pass all Special Forces training and have 15 or more Honor before you can use the M4 online.

Tip: To use the grenadier on your M4 click the H button , To use the silencer push L , you have to have them selected on your gun to use them.
